Specifically they discuss Mike Stonebraker's presentation at Gluecon in which he dispells six urban myths of SQL. There's been a lot of chatter recently about VoltDB so it's worth a read.

• Modeling Categories in a Graph Database - We've actually talked alot recently about graph databases (here, here and here). But this post actually shows us how we can use graph databases to model hierarchical categories. I'm sure a lot of you (including myself) have tried to do the same in SQL.
