Cassandra 0.6.8 Released

Here's a little peek behind the curtain at how I operate here at NoSQL databases. I typically write the posts two to three days prior to their publication and schedule them. Most of the time this works fine. Sometimes you get what happens on Friday. Where 0.6.8 is released just after my 0.6.7 post was published.

Anyway, the important part of it all is that Cassandra 0.6.8 was released on Friday. As you can see the list is very small however, users are being requested to upgrade.

Here are the changes from the change log:

  • Update windows .bat files to work outside of main Cassandra irectory (CASSANDRA-1713)
  • Fix read repair regression from 0.6.7 (CASSANDRA-1727)
  • More-efficient read repair (CASSANDRA-1719)
